Please pray for my husband as his prostate cancer is being monitored, and he has a check up today. We are always anxious on these days. Also, please pray for my daughter-in-laws father who is undergoing chemo for bladder cancer. Thank you!
My wife and I have set up a prayer chain of about 25 people for a member of our church congregation called Pam Carpenter who has been in Kings College Hospital several times without a diagnosis being found. She is at home with her Canon husband Derek and is able to do very little for herself. Her eyesight is also failing so she cannot read.
We have suggested to the 25 people that they each pray for Pam for a couple of minutes every Monday and Friday throughout Lent at 11.00am. Hopefully these “communal” prayers will have some effect.

Last week I saw my ex boyfriend, who is married now but I feel he is stuck in his marriage and looked very sad. It seems as if he is forced to the marriage, nonetheless. I thought I should pray for him, that God should direct him to the right path. This is the prayer and I will repeat it 3 times day or even more:

Please pray for healing and peace in my family. My two sons have also fallen away from the church and I ask the Dear Lord to touch their heart and souls and allow them to find their way back to your house Lord. I also need prayers for my oldest son who estranged himself from me over 4 years ago. I just found out today that a young gentleman I work with was diagnosed on February 13 with a brain tumor. He is going in for surgery this coming Friday. Please join me in praying for a successful surgery to remove the tumor and that he is returned to health.

Please pray for my two sons, Peter and David who have fallen away from the church. I pray for them every Sunday when I am at mass and continue to ask them to find their way back home, but it hasn’t happened yet, I know God must have a plan.
